Network Planning Analysis on Road Construction Projects by CV. X Using Evaluation Review Technique (PERT)-Critical Path Method (CPM) and Crashing Method

Indonesia is currently actively developing infrastructure to improve the economy and welfare of itspeople. One developments undertaken by government road pavement. CV.X company that won asphalt project tender with a contract value IDR 4.046.873.346 must complete it within 114 days. During process working on project, there were indications possible delays in completion. So this study aims perform optimal planning, scheduling, control CV. X carrying out construction project. This usedthe PERT–CPMmethodto determine completion time using critical pathways concept probability. The result thePERT–CPMmethodis an activity flow durationof 115 days, where duration exceeds thecontract period so itneeds becrashing.Thecrashingmethod attempt speed up streamline thecosts incurred.In study, 2scenarioswere obtainedto help reduce cost savingsthat can be usedby projectimplementers. first scenario based from daysto 108 days saving IDR690,354or 0,02%. savings classified as very small because crashing only done additional laborandlimited hours. If crashingmethod notdone, then secondscenario pay penalty IDR40,468,733.
